One thing that has always bothered me is how almost all pipes are generally designed for men. A lot of companies are still under the idea that only men smoke pipes. Things have changed, and it looks as though some of the pipe makers out there are finally figuring that out.

I received for Valentine’s Day this year, by far the most beautiful pipe that I have received or bought for myself and it fits me so perfectly. It’s was a mini hand carved meerschaum pipe, in the shape of a Tulip, my favorite flower. The pipe looked so pretty I almost didn’t want to smoke out of it and display it instead!

The flower is nicely carved in the meerschaum mineral and the leaves surrounding it look very intricately carved. The case it comes in is really nice looking, like it was custom designed around the pipe, the leather-like fabric outside is on a hard shell that has hinges and a clasp to keep it closed and on the inside there is a soft, satiny fabric. The taste of the pipe was incredible as well, definitely something that tasted almost smoother than traditional smoking pipes and although it is called a mini, the bowl size is still a pretty good size bowl for what I would expect out of a carved pipe.
